Property Committee
WHAT DOES THE PROPERTY COMMITTEE DO?
The Property Committee is charged with managing the buildings and grounds and the physical assets of the church property. With all of the people using the facilities, this is a big job. Thankfully, TPC has had many generous members and dedicated workers over the years who have worked hard to keep the church facilities in good shape.
Having the buildings in good condition allows the church to be a blessing to its members and friends through weekly worship, Sunday School classes, adult education, midweek programs, and youth activities. In addition, TPC is home to the Tustin Community Preschool and Boy Scout Troop 33. We reach out into the community by opening our facility for Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, an English as a Second Language class, an authors’ group, a Scottish dance class, and seminary classes, among others.
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?
You may wonder what you can do to help maintain the facilities. Here are some suggestions:
If you have any questions or would like to help, contact a member of the Property Committee or the church office.
Roll up your sleeves for some light church work. The Property Committee is hosting a church clean up day on Saturday, September 18. We'll focus on the church kitchen, do some light yard work and put some finishing touches on the Youth Lounge. It’s a lot of fun to work together, and we'll only need to work for a few hours. See Helen Boggs for details.
