VBS was definitely a blast!  We had 96 children along with a great staff who offered their diverse gifts to insure the kids had a fantastic week.  We listened to great stories from the Bible, made cool crafts, sang fun songs, played zany games and made many new friends.  We even had an African drummer from the South Coast Performing Arts Center perform.  A big thank you goes out to each member of our dedicated staff.  Thanks to all who supported this year’s program with supplies and prayers.  We are also excited with the response of the VBS kids and the members of the congregation to this year's VBS mission project.  Thanks to the generosity of those who worshipped with us on July 4, our VBS kids met and exceeded our goal of $1,000 for Heifer International.  We collected a total of $1,268.97 which we will be sending to Heifer to purchase two cows for a village in Africa.  Thank you for helping us show that faith makes a difference!
