CPR and AED Classes Scheduled

CPR and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) training has been scheduled for Saturday, September 20.  The TPC Disaster Response Plan makes provision for CPR and AED training of volunteers and our childcare staff.  The CPR certificates earned in the September 2006 training will need renewal in September of this year.  Many of our ushers have been trained, and some new people who serve as ushers, or in other capacities, will want to take this class for the first time.  We are fortunate to have been able to schedule TPC member Rand Williams, who has now been certified by the American Red Cross as a trainer, for this class.  We will also offer training for AED certificates at that time, although technically they would not be due until February 2009.  This way all certificates will be combined into a two-year cycle.  Anyone TPC member who is interested in taking this CPR and/or AED training is welcome.  There is no fee.  Contact the church office at (714)544-7070 to sign up.
