Lent begins on
Ash Wednesday, March 9. For forty days we walk with Jesus through
the wilderness toward the cross. Lent is a time of inward reflection,
repentance, forgiveness, and spiritual preparation. During Lent we
think more deeply about what it means to be disciples of Jesus Christ,
to be changed into his likeness, and to follow him step by step. Together
we will observe Lent in the following ways:
Ash
Wednesday Worship

March 9, 7:30 p.m.
We will gather
in the sanctuary for this contemplative service. Our worship will include silence, singing,

representative of the worship committee will be present to
orient you to the labyrinth. Candles and music will set the
mood, but there will be no liturgy.
On March 23 and April 6, we
will gather in the sanctuary for sung prayer and
contemplative worship.
Lenten pilgrims are also
invited to attend our LOGOS dinners on those Wednesdays.
