June 2008:

Approved the second
quarter general mission payment to The Presbytery of Los Ranchos
-
Called the fall
congregational meeting at the conclusion of the worship service on Sunday,
October 19, for the purpose of electing church officers who will begin their
terms in 2009

Approved two changes to
the TPC Employee Handbook

Approved the continued
service of Sue Currie as the liaison from TPC to the Tustin Community
Preschool and Boy Scout Troop 33
-
Approved the celebration
of communion at the men’s ReCharge retreat on Sunday, September 14, with the
Rev. Lynn Stone as the officiant

Approved the scheduling of
two worship services at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 14,
when the Chancel Choir will present Bach’s

Received a report on the new recycling bins that have been obtained for use
in the kitchen and for the rest of the TPC campus

in the Youth Lounge on April 11-12

Approved a planning
committee for a proposed Health Fair for the Tustin community that would be
held at TPC on November 22, 2008

Agreed to allow Boy Scout
Troop 33 to go forward with planning to establish a Cub Scout feeder pack
that would also meet at TPC

Called a congregational meeting for Sunday, March 9, at the

aid the pastor in recommending session committee assignments for 2008

Approved the continued use of the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum
for Sunday School and the curriculum from LOGOS Associates for the LOGOS
program for the 2007/2008 school year

Received the report on the review of the 2006 financial records for Tustin
Presbyterian Church that indicated that the records were in order

Approved a commitment from the funds from the capital campaign designated
for mission for a period of three years to support the hiring of a part-time
program coordinator as a member of the staff of First Presbyterian Church of
Santa Ana to establish and operate an after-school program for the Hispanic
community
-
Approved the funding by TPC of the travel expenses for Pam Roeth’s
short-term missionary trip to Lesotho
August 2007:

Authorized the Fellowship and Outreach Committee to sell Entertainment Books
as a fourth quarter fundraiser

Approved the payment of the $8,250 second quarter general mission commitment
to The Presbytery of Los Ranchos
